About ValueStockFinder.com
ValueStockFinder.com uses a privately-developed computer model that analyzes each public company's daily economic and financial data to quickly and easily determine the Intrinsic Value of its Common Stock. The use of this model eliminates the old approach of manually inserting and manipulating dozens of numbers into dozens of formulas to analyze a public company's financial data.
Why Intrinsic Value?
The Intrinsic Value of any company is what its assets WILL produce. That is the best predictor of a stock's future price. Every day that the stock market is open, the “Intrinsic Value Model Mathematical Algorithm” on this web site electronically assembles and analyzes financial data from a variety of respected financial sources. The formula then produces a Value Index for each stock in our database of 6,000 stocks. That Index (from 1 - 10 with 10 being the highest value) shows whether the stock is undervalued or overvalued (or fairly valued at today's market price) and to what degree. Subjective opinions from Wall Street analysts have been wrong so many times that none are considered by this formula -- each stock's Index is the result of pure, proven higher mathematics.
The IVM-Pro algorithm (mathematical formula) was developed in 1976 and is continually refined by a team of mathematicians and statisticians who, along with selected investment professionals, have used it as their personal, private (and most valuable) stock and option investment tool for almost 30 years. For the first time since 1976, IVM-Pro's analytical results for professional investors are being made available to the public on this web site as a listing of each day’s “Top 10” and “Top 25” Value Stocks.
Subscribers also may type in lists of their favorite stock symbols under the "Your Stocks" Section of the web site and have each stock evaluated and Indexed immediately by the Intrinsic Value Model Algorithm here on the ValueStockFinder.com web site.
(Click on the "Your Stocks" button above) or on any "Subscribe" button for further information and available subscriptions.
The Intrinsic Value Model formula used for the analysis of all stocks is the same mathematical formula found in the “IVM-Pro” computer software for investment professionals.
The algorithm used by IVM-Pro Software and ValueStockFinder.com quickly shows any stock’s desirability as an investment. The IVM-Pro Model, and not the investor, does all of the work. The IVM-Pro Software also adds Options Evaluations for any stock in the 6,000-stock database (if options are available for the stock). The Learning Lab section of this web site shows the investor how to use options (covered calls are the safest) by revealing the actual returns from each possible stock and option combination selected by the user. The user will be able to see the actual return on any stock and option combination before any transaction is executed. Again, in IVM-Pro Software, the user either may enter the stock and option data manually or download all data directly from the web site.
Currently, the techniques investors use to search for value stocks generally require the analysis of each candidate company’s financial data one number at a time. Dozens of different numbers must be analyzed, one by one, before there is any acceptable result. IVM-Pro, however, assembles all of the same data and calculates each stock's intrinsic value and its desirability as an investment. Data for users of IVM-Pro Software who wish to "do it themselves" are available free from a variety of public resources including the public company itself, the library, all financial or investment information resources like stock brokerage firms, banks, and more. We will show you where to find and how to use that data if you choose to use the software. The same data is used every day on this site to analyze thousands of stocks to deliver the results of that analysis here every day for subscribers. For those who choose to own the software, the IVM-Pro and ValueStockFinder.com web site also offers direct downloads of all of the required stock data updated daily at the close of the market. (see “Subscribe”).
Of the thousands of common stocks in the marketplace, many can be classified as “Value Stocks.” The question that must be answered is "which Value Stocks represent the BEST investments?" Using the IVM-Pro algorithm to search and find the Value Stocks that represent the greatest opportunity for impressive gains has produced annualized returns of more than 150% per year since 1976! Even a long-term system-test portfolio, comprised of IVM-Pro’s “Top 10” common stocks as selected in August of 1998, is still up more than 130% as of September, 2004 (click on Home button to see Chart) while the Dow, the S&P, and NASDAQ have not performed well over the same period!
Intrinsic Value Model daily analysis results are available to subscribers on on this site (See “Subscribe"). IVM-Pro Software is available only by mail and only on CD (Click on “IVM PRO Software” for further information on how to order).
IVM-Pro Software has been described as both a manual and an automatic software program. In the manual mode, each user assembles and manually enters into the boxes provided in the program, the numbers needed for each stock's analysis. As indicated previously, this data is readily available, for free, from numerous sources like public libraries, stock brokerage firms, banks, savings institutions, financial web sites on the Internet, public corporations themselves, and many other places where corporate financial information is offered. We'll show you where to find the data and how to use it.
Data acquisition also may be done automatically (electronically) by IVM-Pro. The software automatically will log in to the ValueStockFinder.com web site. With either an annual or monthly subscription to this service, the data is downloaded and installed in the software without user assistance. All of the stock and option information selected by the user updates all screens in IVM-Pro without manual data entry. (Click on “Subscribe” and "IVM-Pro Software" for more information.)
Fees for the data download service are (1) $495 per year for unlimited daily downloads or (2) $59.95 per month (also for unlimited downloads) billed automatically to the user’s credit card. The service may be discontinued at any time (there are no refunds for unused subscription time). There is no limit to the number of stock symbols or options that may be entered into the program for analysis by IVM-Pro’s Intrinsic Value Algorithm. IVM-Pro will analyze all stock symbols and data entered and sort and rank the output by each stock’s Intrinsic Value Index (the degree to which each stock presently is Under Valued, Fairly Valued, or Over Valued).
Options Traders – Use IVM-Pro Software to select Value Stocks on which to write options (Calls, Puts, etc.). Options Investors find that IVM-Pro is an indispensable tool. IVM-Pro allows the user to select stocks that are the best option candidates, from the thousands of stocks available. The Software then evaluates and ranks each stock and, with its Intrinsic Value Index, lists those stocks, and the available options for each stock, that represent significant opportunities for any option investor. The software shows the user the dollar and the short-term and annualized returns from each possible stock and option combination. A description of the "Buy Write" technique for buying stock and selling Covered Calls is available to Subscribers in The Learning Lab section on this site.
Using ValueStockFinder.com and IVM-Pro Has Produced:
A 163% Annualized Return with a portfolio selected by the IVM-Pro algorithm!
A ValueStockFinder.com Portfolio selected in August, 1998 is up more than 150% as of February, 2005! That's more than 600% better than the Dow during a comparable time!. (Click on "Home" for chart.)
